Welcome Back!

Students and Parents —

Welcome back to Milton High School! And welcome to the Milton Choral Program. The beginning of school is an exciting time as students and teachers get settled in for the year of learning and activities.

This year, we’ve worked very hard to streamline the necessary information and registration steps for our Milton Chorus families. You’ll find that a majority of information is now collected online, and in many cases you can make payments via credit cards immediately on this site.

Many of our events including fundraising, retreat and lock-in, attire measuring and ordering, and spiritwear orders all take place in the first month or two of school, making this an important time to stay organized.

Below, you’ll find an easy checklist of things that you need to do for the Milton Chorus and Choral Association.

Important Notes for All Students and Parents

  • Please complete the necessary forms as soon as practical. Our volunteers must process hundreds of individual forms and requests, and the sooner we have your information and payment, the better we can serve you.
  • The forms below give you the option to pay immediately via credit card. Our site is securely enabled for online commerce. Attire and event payments will incur a small upcharge to defray the credit card processing costs – we ask for your understanding and hope the convenience is worth the small extra charge.
  • If you choose to pay by personal check, please make all checks payable to Milton Choral Association. On your check please indicate your student’s name, and the purpose of the payment (to avoid delays).

Students New to Milton Chorus

1. Parents and students are required to complete the Online Student Registration and Travel Consent Form. Please complete this form together. You will need your class schedule, current medical insurance information, and all email/phone/addresses for your family and emergency contacts. When you complete the signup, a PDF will be emailed to you with all of your information —please print, sign, and return this page to Mr. Bowers. We require your signature on the travel consent form.

2. Place your choral attire order using the Online Choral Attire Order Form. For your convenience, your student will be measured for choral attire by our volunteers during the first two weeks of school. This form allows you to place your attire order, then decide whether to immediately pay via credit card, or send a personal check in with your student.

3. Each fall we have a day long retreat (Concert Choir – $10) or lock-in (Advanced Ensembles – $20). If you wish to pay for this event using a credit card, you can do so when you order your attire (as in step #2 above). If for some reason you need to pay for this event separately via credit card, please use the Online Retreat/Lock-In Payment FormIf you desire to pay via personal check no registration is necessary, please send the check in with your student.

4. Join the Milton Choral AssociationWe ask that parents and extended families strongly consider joining the Milton Choral Association. This is the best and most impactful way for you to donate and support the Milton Choral Program. You can read more about the program by reading this pageThis form allows you to pledge a donation, then decide whether to immediately pay via credit card, or send a personal check in with your student.

5. We also ask that all parents complete the Online Volunteer Registration Form. The Choral Program has a variety of volunteer opportunities from short evening commitments to overnight chaperoning. More information about volunteer requirements is found here.

6. Sign up for text message updates (both parents and students). Mr. Bowers will use this service to send any last-minute or emergency information about performances, events, and tests.
