Shannon Wagar Hello, MCA Families! My name is Shannon Wagar, and I hope to be your next incoming MCA Co-President. I have three boys, all of whom have been involved in Milton Chorus. My oldest son graduated last year, after spending all four years in Chorale. My middle son spent his Freshman year in Chorale, and my youngest is a Freshman in Chorale. I joined the MCA Board in 2012 and was part of the transition to the new board organization, so I understand how we have evolved. I would love to continue to work to ensure that our students have many possibilities in the world of music. I look forward to returning to the Board and look forward to getting to know and work with all of you. Thanks for your support!
Ayanna Chambliss While originally from Philadelphia, I consider myself to be a Georgia girl, having spent my formative years in southeast region of Georgia where dirt roads and rolling farmland created the backdrop for lots of barefoot adventure. I moved to Atlanta in 1998 to attend Morris Brown College and after sampling several parts of the city, settled down in the Roswell/Alpharetta area with my husband, Timm and two daughters, 11 and 15. I am a certified administrative professional working as the administrative director for a healthcare consulting firm in Alpharetta as well as a freelance writer, poet, and aspiring novelist. In my rare moments of spare time, I enjoy gardening, reading historical fiction and strolling the paths at Wills Park.
Pam Wildes About me: I have been married to my husband Alan for 26 years this month. We have two kids, Jackson who is a sophomore, and Anabelle who is a sixth grader. We homeschooled both kids until Jackson came to Milton for ninth grade. We are still homeschooling Anabelle. I love to cook and bake with baking being better since I love to follow the directions! My other love is reading – I will always talk books with you! I want to serve on the Board to give back–I have seen how much Jackson has gotten out of the program in this past year and a half and want to help continue the vision of the program any way that I can. I believe there are so many great things going on in the Milton Chorus and I want to help keep that going.
